    Prepared Raspberry Pi MicroSD setup

    Your Beamo 64GB card already has Raspberry Pi OS installed. No downloads or card preparation are needed. This is the card, not a computer or cooling case.

    This is a prepared MicroSD card. Raspberry Pi OS is already on it. Do not format the card or flash an image. You insert it into a Raspberry Pi.

    Do not use this card as a USB installer on a Windows or Mac computer.

    Before you start

    Have your Raspberry Pi, a model-appropriate power supply, a powered HDMI display and matching cable, and a wired keyboard and mouse ready. Pi 400/500 have a built-in keyboard. Zero 2 W needs a micro-USB OTG adapter and powered USB hub for separate keyboard and mouse.

    Confirm that your card supports your exact Pi model before starting; contact support if unsure. The connector reference below does not guarantee that an older card’s OS supports a newer Pi.

    Compute Modules: ask support with the module and carrier-board model first. Lite variants need a carrier with a usable MicroSD slot; eMMC variants are not a direct replacement-card setup.

    Card setup

      Insert the card

      With power disconnected, insert the card into the MicroSD slot. On Pi 3/4/5 boards the contacts face the board. For enclosed models, follow the slot marking; do not force the card.

      Connect display and keyboard

      Connect the display and select its HDMI input. Use HDMI0 if there are two outputs. Connect the keyboard and mouse before power. USB-C is not a display output.

      Connect power last

      Connect the correct power supply last, to the power input. On Zero 2 W, use PWR IN, not the USB data port. Keep power connected while startup is progressing.

    Ready to use

    Follow the setup prompts if shown. Use your supplied account instructions; if a login appears and you do not know the details, contact support. Setup is finished when the desktop opens, responds to your keyboard/mouse, and no setup prompt remains.

    Use the desktop’s shutdown option and wait for shutdown to finish. Then disconnect power before removing the card. If you cannot tell whether shutdown has finished, ask support before removing it.

    Blank screen or no progress?

    Check the display is on and its input matches the HDMI cable. Check the power supply matches your Pi and inspect connections without removing the card. If the screen stays blank or startup stops progressing, contact support with the Pi model and a photo of the connections/screen. Do not repeatedly unplug power or rebuild the card.

    This bundle contains the prepared card and cooling case; a Pi computer and power supply are separate. Assemble the case with power disconnected, then return here for card setup.
